Help with baby dolls
FWD from Lanae Hooper:
Dear Relief Society Presidents:
I am in charge of rounding up 25 baby dolls to use for the Youth Pioneer
Trek next month. Could you read the following in your relief society meetings and better yet, post it in your relief society newsletters if you have one or send it out as a mass email to the women of your ward?
Mountain View Stake Relief Society Sisters:
As a part of our stake youth trek, we like to provide a simulation of what it was like to carry a baby across the plains. As such, we are rounding up 25 baby dolls that we can use for this simulation. A soft body doll that is approx. 16-20” tall is best. We need the soft body so we can do a little surgery and add some rice to make the babies a more realistic weight. (see attached photo)
If you have any such dolls forgotten in your closets that you will not need anymore , please let Lanae Hooper (Greenfield ward) know – 480-654-4646 or mlanaehooper@yahoo.com.
Thank you for your help!
