Update on Registration Procedures

This is the text of the Registration Instructions from Garrett Smith:

We will be leaving for the Stake Youth Trek on March 15th.  All the youth will be asked to be at the Stake Center at 7:00am in costume, packed and ready to go on the Trek.  The process of signing in the youth and getting them to their families will be a huge task.  I am asking each of you to help with that process.  Here is how we plan to have it proceed.  The parents will drop off the youth on the south side of the Stake Center and exit the parking lot on to McClellan from the extreme northwest exit.  The youth will enter the Stake Center from the south doors and will be directed into the cultural hall.  There will be 7 tables running east and west down the middle of the court from one basketball goal the other.  Each ward will be assigned a table.  The youth will be directed to their ward table where you will look their name up on the master list for your ward and direct them to go to classroom #__ to meet their Ma and Pa and the rest of their family.  Once there, they will participate in a few activities while we get everyone signed in and prepare to board the busses.  They should each have their buckets (which we plan to hand out at the fireside on the 26th) and their bed rolls. 

If you are planning on going on the Trek, I need you to be at the Stake Center at 6:30 all ready to go so that you can staff your ward's table.  If you are not going on the Trek, but are available to be at the Stake Center to assist with the send off, then I need you there at 6:30 to staff your ward's table.  If you are neither attending the Trek nor able to be there on the 15th at 6:30 a.m., then I need you to arrange to have someone from your youth organization who is familiar with all of your youth that can assist with the process.  We will need one YW leader and one YM leader at the table from 6:30 until the check-in process is complete.  Additionally, we need help cleaning up and locking up the building when we are all done and the busses have left.  Most of the leaders who will be attending the Trek will not be able to linger around for everyone to leave to lock up as they either need to be on one of the busses or need to be at the Trek site in advance of the rest of us to fulfill other assignments. 

Please let me know if you or someone else will be there at 6:30 to staff your table and please let me know if you or someone from your organization can assist with the shutting down of the building once we have all departed.
