Where to source your costumes:

1. The first avenue is to see what your family may have. There is no telling what are in those closets!

2. Ward donations. Spread the word and with the generosity of the ward and the help of the Relief Society members you might be able to utilize donated clothing. This can also be true of fabric to use for making items you can’t find.

3. 2nd Hand Thrift Stores. You might be able to grab a bargain, but prices aren’t what they used to be, it might be worth it to not have to start from scratch though. Below is a list of a few local thrift shops.

4. Make them yourself! We’ve included patterns for everything you need, but you don’t have to use what we’ve given you, below you’ll find many more links and ideas for other patterns to try if you’d like.

5. Purchase them (though I’d consider this a last resort, though some things will have to be bought)

You can purchase most of the items at any thrift store, here are a few suggestions:

Deseret Industries
Goodwill (closest locations are Greenfield/University or Val Vista/Southern)
Epic Thrift Store (Greenfield/McKellips)
